About Us

From bold experiment to cultural movement

In the vibrant chaos of Art Basel 2012, what began as a bold creative experiment became a movement. Celebrity Art Series (CAS) lit the spark that would grow into MUSE Art Fair.

From the very beginning, CAS and MUSE have been dedicated to elevating Black, multicultural, and women artists—creative visionaries whose stories shape cultural landscapes and deserve the spotlight. These artists work at the intersection of personal expression and broader social commentary, making their work especially potent in transforming how we see and understand our world.

Those early CAS shows were pure creative adventure! We popped up across Miami—from Wynwood to Downtown Miami, to Coconut Grove, to a floating gallery. Each location became our canvas for reinvention. Over five exhilarating years, CAS embraced both spectacular triumphs and spur-of-the-moment challenges. We learned. We evolved. We built a community to amplify underrepresented talent.

In 2017, we brought that vision to South Beach and launched MUSE Art Fair. With a new name came a broader platform—still rooted in purpose, now with greater reach, visibility, and cultural presence.

MUSE isn’t just an art fair—it’s a celebration of identity and a testament to artistic courage.
